Notes: As some of you may recall, prior to the fruition of Prichard Nixon I fronted the Coachella Valley punk-rock group Turnip and the Radishes. Comprised of Prichard Nixon (vocals and guitar), Matthew Evans (bass guitar) and Brandon Crutcher (drumkit), the band wrote numerous songs and rehearsed extensively before collapsing under the weight of its collective ambition in the winter of 2018.

“I’m Surrounded by Idiots” was the second song written by Turnip and the Radishes and was extensively demoed and rehearsed but never formally recorded.

Earlier this year I rediscovered “Idiots” while completing my degree in Communications at College of the Desert and decided to take a stab at recording a proper studio version.
